Shafaq News / The Investment Commission of the province of Najaf, announced on Thursday, the presentation of a new investment project in the transport sector to international companies.
"We have future and sophisticated investment projects and opportunities, and today we announce the opportunity to build a suspended train, the Monaril, linking the holy sites between Najaf and Kufa with the Najaf International Airport," said Dhargam Kiko, head of the Investment Authority of the province.
He added that "we hope that the international companies and within thirty days, to submit to this project in the transport sector," noting that "this monarail will contribute to the speed of movement between the holy places and reduce the cost of transport and raise congestion on the roads."
Kiko promised "to invest in this sector is very important and encouraging, for what distinguishes the province from the presence of religious and archaeological tourism, which is the beginning of strategic investment opportunities in accordance with a comprehensive system and development contribute to the development of the economy and provide employment opportunities for young people.
