Iraq discusses with Jordan cooperation in the field of population census

Iraq and Jordan, discussed means of benefiting and providing technical expertise in the field of statistics within the plans of implementation of the general census of population and housing to be implemented by 2020 in Iraq and the possibility of transferring the experiment in the implementation of the census electronically.
This came during a meeting held in the Jordanian capital of Amman in the presence of the President of the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers d. Mahdi Al-Alaq and Ambassador of Iraq in Jordan Safia Al-Suhail, and from the Jordanian side Minister of Planning and International Cooperation d. Mary Kamel Kawar and Director General of the Department of Statistics d. Qassim Al Zoubi.
The two sides also discussed the possibility of transferring experiences and benefiting from Jordan's rich experiences in cooperation with international institutions. The Jordanian Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation was also consulted on building the capabilities of the Iraqi side in this field.
Al-Suhail reviewed the measures taken by the government in the field of developing border crossings, facilitating trade and the movement of goods and people between the two countries, as well as cooperation in the higher education sector between the two countries through bilateral agreements at the level of public and private universities. Jordanian universities .
During the meeting, a summary of the investment opportunities in the governorates announced during the Kuwait conference was presented and the Jordanian private sector was invited to benefit from the investment opportunities and contribute to the reconstruction of Iraq, in addition to the agreements with the Jordanian universities in establishing faculties and departments as well as coope[/rtl]
