The Ministry of Commerce announced, on Tuesday, that the Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Fairs and Commercial Services, Sarmad Taha Saeed, met with the President of the International Exhibitions Federation Ahmed Al-Deeb, to discuss ways of joint cooperation between the two parties.
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the Director General of Exhibitions Company Sarmad Taha Saeed said, "During the meeting, the issue of increasing the volume of cooperation in the field of exhibition service, holding specialized exhibitions and encouraging investment and trade through the entry of merchants and businessmen from different countries of the world to local markets was discussed. Iraq to create investment opportunities.
Saeed stressed that "his company is open to all embassies in the world inside Iraq to contact them through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who have a desire to hold specialized exhibitions in the country," noting that "the exhibition company will provide all facilities for the success of these exhibitions."
For his part, President of the Federation of International Exhibitions, Ahmed Al-Deeb, stressed the keenness of the International Federation of Exhibitions to deepen trade and economic relations with Iraq through holding specialized exhibitions and encouraging international companies to enter the Iraqi market and opening horizons for investment cooperation in various fields.
