Launch of a billion dinars to support the mass graves
The Human Rights Commission announced on Thursday that the government will release one billion dinars to support the mass graves in Iraq.
"The Commission appreciates the role of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Finance to respond to the appeal of the Commission to allocate one billion dinars to support the file of mass graves in the institution of martyrs in order to secure the requirements of the opening of mass graves and identify the deceased and match with the families of martyrs."
He added that "the Ministry of Finance conducted a transfer of one billion dinars to support the work of technical teams for the opening of mass graves in the institution of martyrs to open many of the brutal graves committed by the gangs of terrorist gangs as a crime of genocide."
He pointed out that "the High Commission for Human Rights is working in coordination and cooperation with the institution of martyrs and other bodies in the state to document these crimes and to refer the perpetrators to the Human Rights Court as they committed crimes of genocide as the Commission seeks to follow the rights of the martyrs with sufficient institutions of the state to do justice to their sacrifices."
