Called on the MP Masson Raad al-Mukusi, on Sunday, the Ministry of Education and the Standing Committee for examinations to apply the system of improving the rate of students completed studies for the sixth stage preparatory, as in previous years.
"The decision of the Ministry of Education to cancel the system of improving the rate of students completed studies for the sixth stage of this year is surprising and we do not know the positive reasons that prompted the ministry to take this decision," said Makussi in a statement issued by his office.
"Providing students with an additional opportunity to improve their rates is a worthy procedure for our students and there is no justification for canceling it, especially in the unstable security and service conditions in our country which could lead to lower rates of some students in the exams," he added.
"The abolition of the application of improving the rate will deprive them of the opportunity to develop themselves and get the best colleges to suit and suit their wishes and aspirations."
The MP called on the Ministry of Education and the Standing Committee for Examinations to restore the system of improving the rate to serve the country and its youthful experience to ensure youth energies carrying the message and represent Iraq the best representation.
