Centralized foreign exchange sales rise 3.5 million dollars

Central Bank of Iraq data showed Thursday that foreign currency sales rose to $ 161.61 million from $ 158.16 million on Wednesday, an increase of $ 3.45 million.
According to the Central Bank of Iraq, the exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 28 banks, and one financial transfer company.
He noted that "these sales are the results of the auction on Sunday, explaining that" the total sales totaled $ 184.01 million, compared to $ 177.34 million transactions past. "
The volume of funds sold to strengthen bank balances abroad was $ 161.21 million, while total cash sold was only $ 400,000.
The central pointed out in his statement that "the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the sale of cash will be at the same price."
