    Baghdad/sourcing
    Centre for the Iraqi media network (IMN)-Iraqi unions and federations
    decided, the formation of a unified national pool is the coordination of
    all unions and associations to come up with unified positions on issues
    concerning the slide posed by trade unions.

    Advisor of the
    General Union of agricultural associations, Karim Al-Tamimi, Wednesday,
    (IMN) that "a number of unions, including the General Federation of
    trade unions, farming and agricultural engineers Association, and the
    General Union of workers and the General Union for cooperation, and the
    teachers ' Union today decided to establish a unified national gathering
    of all trade unions in the country."

    Tamimi said that "the
    purpose of establishing the new grouping is the delivery of the demands
    of citizens enrolled in trade unions to stakeholders for the purpose of
    meeting them, in addition to coordinating work among all trade unions in
    the country in the interest of all".
