Trump chooses a candidate for the post of interior minister

announced that US President Donald Trump, he will nominate David Bernhardt for the post of interior minister in the country. "David has been doing his job well since his arrival, and we are eagerly awaiting his formal appointment,"
Trump wrote in a tweet on Twitter .
Bernhardt is currently in charge of the interior minister after Ryan Zinke resigned from the post last December on the back of his investigations.
It is essential that the US Senate approve Bernhardt's appointment so he can take up the post officially.
The US Department of the Interior runs about 20 percent of the country's territory.
Bernhardt is expected to continue if he is appointed to move forward with President Trump's plan to increase oil and gas production in the United States by allowing for more public land.
