Parliamentary sources revealed on Tuesday the existence of political deals and agreements lined up to delay the file of Baghdad access to oil imports exported across the region and stipulated in the budget law, stressing that the proposal to amend this law has been procrastinated politically motivated.
The sources said that "MP Yusuf al-Kalabi submitted a proposal signed by 50 deputies to the presidency of the parliament in order to modify the share of the region of oil, especially that Kurdistan gets salaries from Baghdad in addition to oil," indicating that "the proposal of al-Kalabi followed by chaos in parliament Because of the lack of approval of the presidency to re-vote on the proposal submitted by Al-Kalabi on the share of the region of oil. "
The sources pointed out that "there is a lack of equity for the southern provinces in terms of granting rights unlike the Kurdistan," pointing out that "the Presidency announced the hosting of the ministers of finance and oil and a representative of the Prime Minister and the Office of Financial Control," stressing the need to "stay away from procrastination and agreements and deals buried in Granting rights to some provinces at the expense of the interests of the people and the southern provinces. "
The sources stressed that "the southern provinces will not stand idly by in front of what is happening in the country of preference for the region by political deals at the expense of other provinces and will continue to pressure in parliament to achieve the right." Ending / 25 n
