    The Ministry of Housing and Construction revealed a modern design vision for the project to develop the lands surrounding the Dora-Yusufiya expressway.
    The official spokesman for the ministry, Eng. Istibraq Sabah, told the official newspaper that "Baghdad lacks new expansion areas planned in a civilized manner that can accommodate all activities and provide real estate for all levels and events, so the ministry worked in coordination with the Baghdad Municipality, the governorate, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the State Real Estate Department to design the lands surrounding the Dora-Yusufiya expressway."
    He explained that "this road is 16 kilometers long and its area with the expansions on both sides is 9,655 dunums, noting that the Prime Minister's Office has directed to expand work within the project to a depth of one kilometer on both sides of the road and to begin preparing detailed architectural designs for the expansion area."
    Sabah added that "the engineering staff of the ministry has begun preparing the planning designs that include designing the part overlooking the street with a depth of 250 meters in the form of 3 paths, where the first includes six multi-use towers between commercial and administrative in each area where several activities are gathered or what is known as (the node), and the area of ​​each tower is 1000 square meters with a height of 120 meters, while the total number is 148 towers overlooking a green area with an area of ​​approximately six dunams."
    He continued that "the second path includes multi-storey parking lots and green and recreational areas, while the third includes seven residential towers with an area of ​​1000 square meters for each tower and a height of 80 meters, as the total number of towers in this path is 165 towers."
    He pointed out that "there is a study being prepared by the government through which a special system will be reached to deal with the owners of these lands for the purpose of preparing them according to the new design vision for developing these areas, such as issuing special approvals or decisions that the owners benefit from."
