GE said it has added 125 megawatts to the grid in three months.
"The company added this amount of energy in a record time estimated at 3 months, where the engine was shipped and replaced and installed at the plant, which works on the advanced F9technologies of the company, which produces 500 MW. "
"The company team worked with its counterparts in the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity additional times for re-operation to support and increase productivity in electricity, which reached record numbers."
He stressed that "the efforts are continuing to maintain the engines and make sure to operate, especially in peak times of the summer, which is rising in temperatures," noting that "the company's staffs continue to work and maintain and increase efficiency in production (...) More than 1800 MW during the current season. "
