Electricity is negotiating with three countries to implement energy link projects

The Ministry of Electricity announced on Thursday, the beginning of the implementation of the electricity link with Jordan early next month, confirming the existence of negotiations with Turkey, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to begin the implementation of projects of electrical link with it.
The official newspaper "Al-Sabah" quoted an official source at the ministry as saying that "his ministry has finished talks with the Jordanian side, which requires completion for a year and a half, to be implemented on Iraqi territory by the ministry's staff." It will be in early September. ”
He added, "His ministry is currently working on the completion of the Gulf link project and there are talks with both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in this aspect, and within a year from now will achieve the Gulf linkage," pointing out that "there are negotiations with the Turkish side to activate the linkage with them in addition to the existing electrical connection with The Iranian side, which supplies it to Iraq up to 1200 MW. ”
He continued, "The completion of these projects come together to create a promising electricity market and provide an economic environment, in addition to providing production capacities in the case of import or Iraq is a carrier country of energy," noting that "participation in this project, will create a promising electricity market and generate large economic benefits for Iraq ”.
