    The Integrity Committee announced on Saturday, the formation of a joint investigation committee with the Energy Committee to investigate the contract of the refineries Karbala oil, noting that the field was referred to a contract with fines of up to $ 8 billion at a time not to exceed $ 4 billion.
    Committee member Jawad Hamdan told Al-Maalouma that the Oil Projects Company of the Ministry of Oil referred the contract of Karbala refinery to a foreign company worth up to 6 billion dollars.
    He added that "there are fines imposed in the event of any delay in government procedures up to two billion dollars, which means the total value of the contract up to 8 billion dollars," noting that "the value of the bank cabats according to specialists does not exceed 4 billion dollars."
    He explained that "the Integrity Committee addressed the Ministry of Oil to know the details of the contract and to see the priorities, but did not respond to address and did not provide the Integrity Committee any priorities for the contract," pointing out that "an investigation committee was formed of the Integrity and Energy Committees to investigate the matter under the direction of the Presidency of Parliament." .
    He added that "in case the Ministry of Oil does not respond to the Commission investigating the contract will become a questioning of the Minister of Oil."
