Iraqi government announces its eagerness to find more effective mechanisms to resolve outstanding issues with Kuwait

The Iraqi government announced its commitment to Ejad more effective mechanisms for further progress in the outstanding issues with Kuwait and the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Zebari stressed according to the statement, "the government's keenness on the search for mechanisms and more effective ways to further advance and support the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the work of the Kuwaiti embassy in Baghdad and consular mission in Basra."
For his part, the Kuwaiti Ambassador congratulated the success of the legislative elections held in Iraq and what it represents support for the democratic process, stressing parking Emir of the State of Kuwait and the Government of Iraq with the people in achieving stability and development.
And witnessed the official relations between Iraq and Kuwait and described as positive developments during the past few months, to end the outstanding issues between the two countries, especially after the withdrawal of Iraq from international sanctions imposed on it in the seventh item, by the UN Security Council.
