    Information / Baghdad..
The head of the Mandaean Parliamentary Bloc, MP Osama Al-Badri, revealed today, Monday, that the Presidency of the House of Representatives approved submitting the Minorities Protection Law to the first reading.
Al-Badri told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The law to protect minorities has been suspended for many years, indicating that the law is one of the important laws that minorities are waiting for."
He added that "the Presidency of the House of Representatives expressed its approval to raise the law for the first reading on the agenda of the House of Representatives based on the signatures of the representatives of the components within the parliament."
He pointed out that "the enactment of the law is a guarantee of the rights of minorities and compensation for the job grades of the components in the ministries and agencies." End / 25 H
