Specialized committee to ensure acceptance of cybersecurity outputs

The Ministries of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research coordinate to facilitate the acceptance of the Cybersecurity Department’s graduates in public universities.
The Director General of the Vocational Education Directorate at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Maliki, told Al-Sabah: The Directorate had previously opened the Cyber Security Department and prepared all its requirements with regard to the graduation of the first batch of students registered in it.
He pointe
d out the coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with the aim of accommodating the department’s graduates after three years in government universities and ensuring their acceptance.
He pointed out that there are joint committees specialized between the Ministry of Education and the Directorate to determine the acceptance rate for graduates in order to secure good colleges to support their academic future and provide the labor market with scientifically integrated outputs.
Al-Maliki stressed the need to raise awareness of vocational education and its importance in the labor market, especially since the role of the media is large and influential, and through it, clarification is provided to students wishing to apply to vocational education schools in the recently established departments.
The Ministry of Education has begun accepting third-year middle school graduates for the academic year (2023-2024) into the Cyber Security Department, which opened about a month ago, and there has been a great turnout of students to register in it.
