    The Iraqi Commission for Integrity, called for the Ministry of Agriculture to address the slowdown in the implementation of modern villages projects in a number of provinces, by the relevant authorities in the ministry.
    According to a statement issued by the Commission, a copy of which was referred to by the Euphrates News, it referred in a report sent to the Office of the Minister of Agriculture to the audit and investigative committees that were formed to investigate the reasons for the low rates of completion and the slow work in the implementation of those projects, and to verify the validity of information. The General Company for Industrial Design and Construction of the Ministry of Industry executing the projects shall refer the works entrusted to the subcontractors and take legal action against the company in accordance with the terms of the contract and the instructions in this regard.
    The report, "prepared by the Prevention Department in the Commission, which has formed task forces to conduct field visits to the Ministry of Agriculture; to find out the status of modern villages projects and the delay in their implementation, that the process of implementation of projects were accompanied by technical and administrative obstacles and obstacles led to delayed completion "There are projects to establish {11} modern villages distributed among {10} governorates as part of the activity of the Ministry of Agriculture to exploit arid lands for food security, increase green areas, combat desertification, and create jobs," he said.
    Turning to that "the completion rates of work in the projects of Karbala, Muthanna and Qadisiya reached 100%, while 76% in Anbar, while the rest of the projects in the provinces (Wasit, Missan, Basra, Salah al-Din, Najaf" two projects ", and Diwaniyah) has been withdrawn work By mutual consent as per resolution {347 of 2015} ".
