Kurdish lawmaker Ahmed Hama Rashid said Sunday that the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) was the main loser from the resignation of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] .
"The KDP requests were not rejected by the prime minister of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , and therefore the party will be the biggest loser from the latest measure to submit the resignation of the government," Rashid told Al-Maalouma .
He added, "The political parties sacrifice their friends in order to obtain new benefits and gains," noting that "the two Kurdish parties will seek new privileges in return for supporting the alternative character of Abdul-Mahdi."
