Parliamentary moves to issue a new salary scale that takes into account social justice

On Thursday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee called for the issuance of a new salary scale that takes into account the social justice of state employees without distinction, stressing that this is the prerogative of the government and not Parliament.
The committee's rapporteur, Ahmed Al-Saffar, said in a statement to "Information", that "it is necessary to issue a new salary scale that takes into account the social justice of state employees based on competence, service and testimony, without discrimination."
Al-Saffar added, "The House of Representatives always seeks to redress a number of ministries and raise their salaries due to difficult living conditions," stressing "the need to launch a new salary scale for all state employees."
A member of the Parliamentary Services Committee, Manar Abdel-Muttalib, had called in a previous statement to / the information /, the government to review the new retirement law and to make exceptions for some health and education employees, stating that the new law would empty universities of scientific teaching cadres.
