    The general budget recorded an increase in the rate of deficit for the current year 2020 to about 48 trillion dinars.
    Magda Al-Tamimi, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee in the Iraqi parliament, said: “The financial deficit is very large in the draft of the General Budget Law 2020, and this is the real reason for not sending the budget to Parliament until now.”
