The administration of the headquarters of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ali Khamenei, has taken a series of precautionary measures to protect the guide from infection with the Corona virus.
On Friday, the leader’s administration announced that it had conducted a “Corona” virus analysis for photographers and journalists who had participated in covering Khamenei's vote in the Iranian parliamentary elections Friday morning.
This comes, the day after the Iranian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 3 new cases of "Corona" virus in southwestern Tehran, raising the number of infections to 5.
A spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Kyanosh Jahanpur, said that "three new cases of" corona "were recorded in Iran, two in Qom and one in Arak."
Two people died after being infected with the Corona virus last Wednesday in the city of Qom, southwest of the capital.
