A representative source revealed, on Tuesday, telephone and direct contacts made by high political figures with Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zorfi to persuade him to apologize, pointing out that these contacts assured the latter of assigning a high position in the next government.
The source said to the "information", that "contacts were made by some important political figures from inside the Shiite house with the commissioner Adnan Al-Zorfi yesterday, Monday, asking him to apologize for the assignment," noting that "the contacts were made directly and through phone calls."
The source added, "The callers promised Zorfi to choose any high position in the next government, and that his program be the focus of attention for the alternative candidate's program for him," suggesting "his approval of the assurances presented to him."
The deputy from the State of Law coalition, Kata al-Rikabi, denied earlier, that Prime Minister-designate Adnan al-Zarfi had apologized for forming the government, stressing that he was still continuing his consultations with all parties. Ended in / 25 pm
