[size=15]The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, said, Saturday, that the Kurdistan Region does not have the rights of the central government in the budget, attributing that to the fact that he did not deliver his oil to Baghdad over the previous years, ruling out passing the budget because of this dispute.[/size]

[size=15]Al-Maliki said in a statement today (March 6, 2021), that "the issue is a rights issue, and the government does not have the right to extract a right for the region or the governorates. The approach of justice and equality and looking at the issues with one eye is the one that solves the problem, and the budget - to my knowledge - still has many forms." Concerning the region, with regard to the amount of oil that must be delivered, and the amount of money that should be given in addition to the previous debts and the debts owed. "[/size]

[size=15]Al-Defense said in a statement, "The disagreement continues regarding the share of the Kurdistan Region in the 2021 budget, which makes Parliament obliged to pass the budget according to the political majority . "[/size]

[size=15]He added that "most of the political blocs have objections to the delivery of 250 thousand barrels of Kurdistan oil only to Baghdad," noting that "there are demands to increase the quantity, as well as the mechanisms for delivering oil . "[/size]
