On Sunday, a member of the Parliamentary Oil and Energy Committee, Zahra Al-Bajari, ruled out reaching a consensus between Baghdad and Erbil regarding budget differences during the few days.
Al-Bajari said in a statement to Al-Maalouma agency that "the Kurdistan government does not wish to settle political disputes with the center," indicating that "the current dispute is about oil and non-oil financial revenues."
She added that "the region's share in the budget 12.6 has not been resolved until now," noting that "Parliament will witness the approval of the draft budget law despite the continuing differences because it is too late."
Earlier in the day, the deputy for the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Ikhlas Al-Dulaimi, revealed a proposal to include the Budget Law with the Federal Court Law and vote on dissolving Parliament with one basket. Ended 25 h
