The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, revealed, on Tuesday, two challenges that have caused an increase in the segment of the poor in Iraq.
Al-Kazemi said, during the cabinet session, that "the segment of the poor in Iraq has begun to increase due to the economic challenges and the epidemiological situation," calling on the Minister of Trade to "pay attention to the poor with regard to the ration card."
He called on the ministers to "go out on the ground to the streets to discover the citizens' problems," stressing that the ministers "exercise their role from a lower location."
On the national dialogue initiative, Al-Kazemi said: "Yesterday we launched the principle of a national dialogue," adding: "We put forward the idea of a national dialogue for all Iraqis for the sake of the country's future, and we must hold a dialogue to bring the Iraqis together."
And he stressed, "We must work with all force to cross Iraq to safety," stressing that "
Regarding the events that Nasiriyah witnessed during the recent period, Al-Kazemi said: "Painful events took place in Nasiriyah and we promised to search for the perpetrators and we reached important results."
He added, "We need to evaluate ourselves 7 months after we took over the government," adding: "Despite all the challenges, we searched for reforms and presented the white paper."
He stressed, "Our personal interests must be disrupted and thinking about the public interest."
On the visit of Pope Francis to Iraq, the Prime Minister said, "The Pope's visit to Iraq, and his meeting with Mr. Sistani, was a place of pride and pride for the Iraqis and the world."
He stressed, "the necessity of making use of the Pope's visit to Iraq," stressing "the necessity of transforming the visit into a development project through religious and historical tourism."
