, the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, spoke on Saturday about the file of the foreign forces, revealing that parties are seeking to obstruct the fight against corruption.
Al-Kazemi said, in a televised statement, that "Iraq does not need the presence of foreign forces on the ground."
He added, "The country needs international support and the coalition aviation continues to direct air strikes against the hideouts of the ISIS element, and that there is a need for security coordination and aerial aviation."
"The security forces carried out an operation in mountainous areas in the Kirkuk governorate, during which more than 300 air strikes were carried out, in which a large number of ISIS members were killed," Al-Kazemi added.
He pointed out that "the relationship between Washington and Baghdad must be transformed into an American-Iraqi interest in the fields of economy, security, culture, health, and other fields."
The Prime Minister stated, "The Anti-Corruption Committee is facing charges of abuse against officials detained on corruption charges, and there is a distortion of the reputation of that committee."
He pointed out that "there are parties trying to obstruct the efforts of the Iraqi government in fighting and eliminating corruption." Ended 29 / A43
