E. Investment Baghdad: to provide diverse employment opportunities and twinning expertise and skills of foreign workers from the priorities of the work of the Commission
 
[size=45]Among the most prominent objectives of the amended Investment Law No. 13 of 2006, which the Baghdad Investment Commission has intended to achieve, is to provide various job opportunities for various local specialties and provide them with competence and skill by bringing technical and scientific expertise and developing human resources by bringing in Arab and foreign workers that are scarce from outside the country, based on To the law and according to the regulations in force in the Directorate of Residence Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Since its establishment, the Commission has been able to provide many job opportunities and eliminate a large part of the unemployment crisis that the country suffers from. It has also contributed to developing the capabilities of local cadres by bringing in Arab and foreign workers to work in investment projects, which in turn transferred their experience, knowledge and skills to local staff and their twinning with their expertise, which contributed in the implementation of investment projects in the form that has achieved the level of ambition  .[/size]
[size=45]This employment was distributed among all the Authority’s projects and in various sectors (residential, health, industrial, commercial, agricultural, tourism _ entertainment) and among these projects we mention, for example, not limited to, within the residential sector that contributed to providing adequate housing for contemporary living standards in addition to providing it. Many different job opportunities for all specialties  :[/size]
[size=45]( Al-Ayadi residential complex, Al-Iraq Gate residential complex, Al-Muheet jewel residential complex, Jawaher Tigris residential complex, Al-Shaab residential complex )  .  [/size]
[size=45]And in the health sector, which is considered one of the vital sectors of direct contact with the lives of citizens, whose projects were able to create many job opportunities for different specialties and achieved progress and prosperity for this sector and made it supportive to the government sector, including (Al-Andalus National Hospital for Cancerous Tumors and their early detection, Al Qemma National Hospital Al-Masara National Hospital, International Hospital for Specialized Surgery) .[/size]
[size=45]As for the tourism and commercial sectors, which have recently become a tributary of economic development in the country in general and the capital Baghdad in particular, the projects of the two sectors have provided many job opportunities for local competencies who work side by side with foreign cadres, including (Coral Hotel, International Hotel, Baghdad Mall, Mall Al-Mansour, Babylon Mall, rehabilitation of the tourist island of Baghdad )   . [/size]
[size=45]In talking about the industrial sector, we affirm that the authority has a great role in encouraging local industries and providing job opportunities and employing various workers in its projects, including (the Tigris factory for the production of soft drinks, healthy water and juices, the plant for purification and packaging of Pearl water and the production of juices and soft drinks, the pioneers for the production of electrical cables, Laboratory for the manufacture of electrical equipment for high and medium pressure and structures and box stations, the factory for the production of medicines and medical supplies)   .[/size]
[size=45]It is noteworthy that the Authority has a large number of investment projects through which it has made its clear mark in all areas of the capital, Baghdad, which were adorned with the distinct urban landmarks and monuments that are referred to today as Lebanon and which were built by our competencies and our staff in cooperation with the advanced competencies. In addition, these projects have made important achievements, especially the residential ones, which provided solutions to the housing crisis and worked to reduce them. As for health projects, it provided modern and advanced methods and methods for the Iraqi health sector and raised it for the better, which greatly contributed to relieving patients' shoulders by receiving treatment in them instead of traveling outside the country  . As for the tourism-entertainment projects, in addition to providing many job opportunities, they also provided a new outlet for the Iraqi family, which was suffering from the lack of these vital facilities, especially on holidays and events, where they began to resort to and enjoy them. And it strengthened the name of local products and brought them back to the fore again. The authority continues to support and entrust all investment projects and continues to implement its plans, vision and goals through which it seeks to achieve the desired economic development to upgrade the capital and bring it to the ranks of developed countries  .[/size]
