{Economic: Al Furat News} The financial and economic advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, has played down the repercussions of any curfew or the return of the closure in the event that the government takes them as preventive measures to prevent the spread of the Corona virus in the country further.

Saleh told {Euphrates News}, "People's lives are the most important, and if there is a closure or restriction, the government also has experience in compensation, combating poverty and treating some cases, and it has more experience than before in this aspect, and the damage will be less."
And he indicated, "The poverty rate has increased due to the closure, and we have more than 11 million Iraqis in the statistics, but they are families, and they are less than 3 million families, and they benefit from government subsidies or pension salaries."
Saleh pointed out that "the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has a database in the event of any accident related to the country and will help these families quickly and it is possible to obtain compensation according to what the state decides and according to the damage."
He noted that "this information base is important and was available for the first time in Iraq," noting that "the earners may be exposed to poverty, while others will continue to receive social welfare benefits."
He pointed out that "the employee and the retiree, even if he does not go to work, his wages are guaranteed, given that his salary is guaranteed by the state."

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health recently recorded a significant increase in the number of Corona virus infections, as yesterday it exceeded more than 8,000 cases, which raises concern among citizens about the return of curfews and closures and the imposition of strict measures to limit the spread of the epidemic further.
