Parliament session.. The framework confirms his attendance, and "sovereignty" and "democratic" may join Sadr
Shafaq News/ A member of the Shiite coordination framework saw, on Saturday, that the Sadrist bloc's decision to boycott the upcoming parliament session "will not affect the election of the president of the republic," stressing that the framework will continue to attend the session, amid expectations that the "Sovereignty" alliance and the "Kurdistan Democratic Party" will join. Ali Al-Fatlawi told Shafaq News Agency, "The Sadrist bloc's boycott of the parliament session devoted to voting on the new president of the republic does not affect the course of the session's work, considering that it is possible to proceed with the session, especially with the presence of more than 250 deputies from non-Sadr bloc."

He explained that the absence of 75 out of 329 deputies does not affect the quorum of the session, but the matter remains subject to political agreements in the coming hours.
For his part, the leader of the "Sovereignty" coalition, Mishaan al-Jubouri, said in a tweet to him on Twitter, "After the sudden decision of his bloc not to participate in the presidential election session, it is likely that the "Sovereignty" and "Kurdistan Democratic" blocs will not attend. session.
He added, "With this, a quorum will not be achieved for her, and we will enter an unprecedented constitutional vacuum stage."
In turn, a member of the Sovereignty Alliance, Muhammad al-Karbouli, said in a tweet to him on Twitter, "Al-Sadr's boycott of the autopsy session of the President of the Republic came within accounts related to setting new rules by which the rules of the political process would change."
And earlier today, Saturday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, suspended "negotiations with the political blocs."
The head of the Sadrist Parliamentary Bloc, Hassan Al-Adhari, said during a press conference inside the parliament building, which was attended by Shafak News Agency; It was "by order of His Eminence Al-Sadr, it was decided to freeze negotiations with the political blocs regarding the formation of the next government until further notice."
