    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

In the first official Iraqi trend towards changing the source of gas imported from Iran to another country, the Minister of Electricity, Adel Karim agency to Qatar, announced understandings to import Qatari gas, after Iran delayed supplying gas to Iraq and stopping it completely, which caused problems in operating the stations and supplying electricity.
The ministry stated in a statement that "its acting minister, Adel Karim, discussed during his quick visit to the State of Qatar with the Qatari Minister of Petroleum and Energy Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the possibility of supplying Qatari gas to Iraq to address and fill the shortage of gas to maintain the momentum of the production stations."
And she indicated that "during the visit, they discussed the logistical issues necessary to supply gas through the Qatari ports to Iraq, indicating that the Qatari side expressed its willingness to supply Iraq with gas."
The ministry pointed out that "this matter requires quick measures and consolidation of efforts by the ministries of oil, transport, finance and everyone with electricity to complete this vital and important project."
Iraq needs about 50 million cubic meters of gas per day, or about 1,700 cubic meters, to operate the stations and fill the deficit in the production of insufficient Iraqi gas, which amounts to only 1,400 cubic meters, but Iran has reduced gas from 50 to 8 million cubic meters only, or about 300 only.
And importing gas costs Iraq about $ 5 billion annually, which it was paying to Iran, and by moving towards importing gas from Qatar, Iran will lose the $ 5 billion it was getting from Iraq, which represents about 30% of the money that Iran was getting from Iraq, and it will remain only The $10 billion value of Iranian merchandise exports to Iraq.
Where Iraq imports every thousand cubic feet at more than 11 dollars from the Iranian side, which means that every 100 feet equals one dollar, and it is unknown the price at which Iraq will buy gas from Qatar.
Last year, Qatar Energy signed a deal with Guangdong Energy Natural Gas Group Ltd., to supply one million tons of liquefied gas annually to China for a period of 10 years, starting in 2024, while Qatar's production of gas is 77 million tons annually.
