Shafaq News/ The work of the Industrial Forum on Markets and Business was launched today, Sunday, in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, under the auspices and presence of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani.
The forum is organized in coordination between the Ministry of Industry and the Investment Authority, with the aim of upgrading the industrial sector and creating more job opportunities.
The Minister of Trade, Kamal Muslim, said in an opening speech at the forum, that the regional government has given great attention in its government program to the industrial sector to make it a source of income and so that no single source is relied upon because of the danger of this matter, and the outbreak of the Corona pandemic is evidence of that, and that the countries are multiple economic sources. not affected
He added that this sector contributes to providing job opportunities and expanding income sources, and is also important in maintaining national security.
He continued by saying: We have worked to remove the obstacles and obstacles facing this sector and provide facilities for its workers, pointing out that if we do not manufacture the raw materials that enter the work in this sector, we will not be able to develop this sector.
