    An official document issued by the Central Bank of Iraq suggested that the government should wait to conclude any contracts with Russia as a result of economic sanctions on Moscow.
    And the circulated document, about which no government comment was issued, stated that for the purpose of protecting the Iraqi financial system, we propose to wait at the present time in concluding any government contracts with the Russian side, and to wait in transferring any financial payments through the financial system in Russia.
