On Sunday, the Kurdistan Regional Government announced the investment projects that were implemented during the life of the ninth cabin, indicating that the volume of investments exceeded 11 billion dollars, which were implemented by foreign, local and mixed companies.
A statement by the Government Information Department, which Mawazine News received a copy of, stated that the Kurdistan Investment Authority published its report on investment projects in the region during the period between 28/7/2019 and 4/5/2022, noting in it the total of the heads of Funds allocated to those projects that have been implemented by foreign, local and mixed companies.
The statement explained that the projects implemented by the Investment Authority included the sectors of trade, banking, health, industry, services, tourism, education, housing, art and sports, indicating that the number of projects reached 178, distributed over the governorates of Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Dohuk, Halabja, and the independent Garmian and Rabrin departments.
He noted that these projects were implemented on an area of 10,393 dunums of land, pointing out that the total capital spent on them amounted to 11 billion and 137 million and 300 thousand and 24 dollars.
The statement stated that the details of the projects were as follows: Erbil governorate 8767 projects, Sulaymaniyah governorate 1340 projects, Dohuk governorate 569 projects, Garmian management 332 projects, Rabreen management 123 projects, and Halabja governorate 7 projects.
The statement added that the report noted that the projects were implemented according to their timing. In 2019, 16 projects were implemented with a capital of 485 million 204 thousand and 256 dollars.
In 2020, the number of implemented projects reached 77 projects, with a capital of two billion and 18 million and 271 thousand and 256 dollars.
In 2021, 69 projects were implemented, with a capital of $8,509,765,986.
In the current year, 16 projects were implemented with a capital of 124 million and 58 thousand and 282 dollars. Ended 29/R77
