, spokesman for the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mahdi Abdul Karim Al-Faili, confirmed, on Monday, that there is no agreement to go with a compromise candidate for the presidency.
Al-Faili said in an interview with "Mawazine News", "The breakthrough that everyone is talking about after Eid is in the agreement of the Shiite parties and the selection of a prime minister, meaning that this breakthrough will be in the Shiite house."
He continued, "The issue of choosing the president of the republic will be a foregone conclusion, and that the Kurdish parties adhere to their candidates, so two candidates will be nominated for the position." Ended 29/N33
