The Anbar Investment Commission revealed, on Wednesday, that it has granted investment licenses in various sectors, which will contribute to a boom in various sectors, while indicating that projects in the industrial sector will see the light soon and will contribute to the employment of thousands of workers.
A member of the authority's board of directors, Osama Al-Rawi, told the official news agency, "The authority is following up on many projects that have been granted investment licenses," noting that "the most prominent sectors that were granted licenses are the tourism, residential and industrial sectors."
He pointed out that "Al-Anbar Governorate is witnessing a qualitative leap in obtaining investment licenses, especially in the industrial sector," pointing out that "39 licenses were granted since May of last year until now, in various sectors."
He added, "The authority has more than 186 investment projects under completion of procedures," explaining that "Al-Anbar Investment has granted several licenses in the residential sector in line with the Central Bank's housing initiative, in addition to many other sectors."
Al-Rawi continued, "The agricultural sector witnessed a qualitative leap, as licenses were granted in the agricultural sector that will contribute to the development of Iraqi agricultural imports and exports, in addition to industrial projects, where an investment license was granted for the medical glass bottles factory in addition to the iron and steel factory."
Al-Rawi stressed that "industrial projects will see the light very soon and will contribute to the employment of thousands of workers, as well as moving the wheel of the economy in the province." Ended 29/R77
