The Ministry of Trade in the Federal Government announced the holding of a joint meeting between the departments of the Planning and Follow-up Department and the General Company for Foodstuff Trade, in the presence of the departments of the company’s departments and the work team of the electronic ration card, the Department of Planning and Follow-up, to discuss the mechanisms for issuing the electronic ration card to citizens in cooperation with the National Information Technology Company.
The ministry said in a statement, that during the meeting, the details of issuing the electronic card, information, data and stages of work in this project to automate the ration card, which will contribute to building a unified database, eliminating red tape, reducing time and simplifying procedures, as well as keeping pace with development in this aspect, were discussed.
The statement indicated that it was confirmed during the meeting that the issuance of this card will work to accurately count the number of families, as well as its contribution to controlling the processing process, which will be in cooperation between the Planning and Follow-up Department and the Foodstuff Company.
