More than 270 million dollars in central bank sales in today's auction
Shafaq News/ The total sales of the Central Bank, on Tuesday, amounted to more than 270 million dollars.
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated, "The Central Bank sold today, during its auction to buy and sell US dollars, 271 million and 823 thousand and 449 US dollars, which were covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar.
Our correspondent added that most of these sales went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, which amounted to 225 million and 823 thousand and 449 dollars, while the rest went in the form of cash sales, which amounted to 46 million dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that 33 banks have responded to requests to enhance balances abroad, and 22 banks to meet cash requests, in addition to 240 mediating companies.
