Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Education confirmed that the talk about the interruption of lecturers' salaries with the end of the Food Security Law is inaccurate, while noting that the lecturers included all the privileges and controls of educational staff, including salaries.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Falah Al-Qaisi, said that "talking about the interruption of lecturers' salaries with the end of the Food Security Law at the end of this year is inaccurate," stressing that "the lecturers' salaries cannot be interrupted because they have become part of the educational staff."
Al-Qaisi added, "If the salaries of the lecturers are suspended, it means cutting the salaries of all staff, because they have been included in leave, maternity, mobility and affiliation in graduate studies and with all the privileges and controls of educational staff."
