The Parliamentary Education Committee confirmed, on Thursday, that the termination of the free lecturers’ contract or non-renewal will not affect their salaries granted to them by the concerned authorities, linking the renewal of their contracts with the approval of the 2023 budget. Committee member Zaytoun Al-Dulaimi said in an interview with the official newspaper “Al-Sabah” and followed it up

And she attributed the connection of this to the 2023 budget, to “the procedures for converting some of them into permanent owners according to their entitlement, in addition to the fact that some of them will be transferred to contracts, in addition to converting the 2020 lecturers into contracts as well,” indicating that “
Al-Dulaimi added, "After transferring the eligible lecturers to permanent staff after approving the budget, other lecturers will be transferred to contracts according to their legal entitlement, who have not yet been appointed as a contract within their directorates." Ended 29/N33
