The General Directorate of Industrial Development granted one of the formations of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals (96) a license under establishment for new industrial projects during the month of September.
The director general of the directorate, Aziz Nazim Abdel, said in a statement that "the directorate continues to provide specialized services and facilities to support private sector projects approved by it to enable it to continue working and improve the production process within the right contexts and as stipulated in the Industrial Investment Law No. 20 (20) of 19".
He added, "During the aforementioned month, the directorate granted (96) permits under establishment for new industrial projects, in addition to granting (22) certificates of completion of establishment for other projects, allocating (49) plots of land, in addition to renewing (44) identity cards and issuing (202) a letter of assessment of the need for materials. In addition to conducting (142) field inspections of industrial projects and completing (173) legal procedures, transfer of ownership and reinstatement of (9) licenses.
