Today, Monday, the Babylon Investment Commission announced the granting of investment licenses to establish 3 diversified industrial projects in the province.
The head of the authority, Muhammad Jassim Zakum, said, in a statement received by the “National News Center”: “The authority has granted investment licenses to establish a plant for extracting oils and vegetable feed, a factory for the manufacture of rebar, and a quick-to-prepare noodles factory,” noting that “these factories will provide about 4,000 opportunities. Work in various specializations, and will contribute to supplying the local market with national products.”
He added, "This comes within the authority's efforts to support industrial investment in Babylon," noting that "the authority has given priority to establishing industrial projects in the province."
