The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan confirmed, on Wednesday, its "guarantee" of obtaining the portfolio of the Ministry of Justice, and the continuation of its negotiations to obtain the portfolio of the Ministry of Environment.
The leader of the Union, Sherzad Samad, told Mawazine News, "The Union is within the portfolio of the Ministry of Justice, and Khaled Shwani has been nominated to take over its duties, while he is still negotiating another portfolio represented by the Ministry of Environment."
He added, "The Democratic Party is jostling with us for this portfolio and is pressuring Al-Sudani with negotiating papers with him," adding that "the blocs and other political parties support the union's obtaining this portfolio." Ended 29/N33
