A leader in the Democratic Party: Parties do not want the oil and gas law to see the light

{Political: Al-Furat News} The leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Wafa Muhammad Karim, directed his criticism to parties he described as “doing not want the oil and gas law to see the light.”
Karim said in a statement to {Al-Furat News} agency: “The disputes over the oil and gas law file were not limited only between the center and the region, but the oil-producing governorates also entered into its writing, as it does not only concern the center and the region, but rather all oil-producing governorates that have petrodollars are now involved.” In writing the draft and demanding the entitlements of their provinces.”
He added: "There are sharp disagreements about this law, and there are controlling parties and mafias that do not want it to see the light of day, and its approval will impose severe consequences on smugglers."
