    [size=45]Today, Friday, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, received an official invitation to visit Germany.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement from Al-Sudani’s office stated that the latter “received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Iraq, Martin Jaeger, who handed Al-Sudani an official invitation from the German Chancellor to visit Berlin, and Al-Sudani expressed his thanks for the invitation, and promised to meet it as soon as possible.”[/size]
    [size=45]The meeting witnessed, according to the statement, “discussions of bilateral relations between the two countries and aspects of cooperation in various fields, and an emphasis on building a long-term partnership in the field of energy and liquid gas production, as well as in the fields of confronting climate change, developing anti-corruption mechanisms and renewable energy.”[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Sudani stressed the importance of cooperation in the field of combating corruption, and supporting Iraq's efforts to recover stolen funds and those wanted for corruption crimes.[/size]
    [size=45]For his part, Yeager stressed the German government's keenness to consolidate relations with Iraq, at various levels and levels, in a way that enhances prospects for mutual cooperation.[/size]
