    Today, Saturday, the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc in Parliament expressed its rejection of the budget law that was voted on by the Finance Committee and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, considering it unfair to the people of Kurdistan and the region's employees.
    The bloc said, in a statement received by (Baghdad Today), that it "stands against the prejudice and treachery that is practiced against the people of Kurdistan, and indicated that passing the budget law in the form voted by the National Union and some other parties in the Parliamentary Finance Committee exposes the salaries of the region's employees to great danger."
    The statement added, "The bloc expressed its regret at what a group of deputies of some parties did in violation of the constitution and inconsistent with the text of the draft budget law for the years 2023, 2024 and 2035, which was agreed upon in the Iraqi Council of Ministers and in the meeting of the state administration coalition, as well as in contradiction with the agreement concluded." between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government, by voting to add some new paragraphs to Articles 13 and 14 of the draft budget law.
    He pointed out that "the bloc is surprised by the position of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the Parliamentary Finance Committee, and as the only Kurdish party that includes its voice with the voices that affect the legal and constitutional rights of the people of Kurdistan, and in order to justify that, it wants to invoke the claim that it supports the return of part of the salary savings of the employees of the Kurdistan Region in While this is nothing more than a throwing ashes in the eyes." As described.
    And he continued: "We want to make it clear to all parties that if the budget law is passed in the form voted by the Patriotic Union and some other parties in the Parliamentary Finance Committee, this does not only mean not paying the employee's salary savings, but rather makes the fate of the salaries of the region's employees and all the financial dues of the Kurdistan region facing great danger."
