    Today, Sunday, the Supreme Commission for Combating Corruption dismantled a network consisting of officials and affiliates in the Ministries of Justice, Trade, Electricity, Interior, Defense, Construction, and Housing that forged contracts issued by higher authorities in the country.
    Speaking about the qualitative process carried out according to judicial notes issued by the Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Investigation Court, and based on the information provided by the current Minister of Commerce, the Supreme Commission for Combating Corruption said in a statement that it “managed to dismantle a network of falsifying contracts and approvals attributed to ministers for the sale of And renting plots of land belonging to the Ministry of Commerce.
    And she added that, "and in cooperation and coordination with the support team, she was able to implement the arrest and seizure orders issued against a judicial assistant in the Ministry of Justice who heads the network, and an account manager in the Ministry of Construction and Housing who impersonated the director of the contract department in the ministry, and a former employee in the intelligence and security of the Ministry of Defense." He is affiliated with the Interior Affairs and an employee in the Ministry of Electricity, in addition to bringing in the director of the office of the Minister of Commerce (formerly), who currently holds the position of Director General in the Ministry, because they forged and signed contracts at the headquarters of one of the ministries.
    And she continued, "The operation also resulted in the seizure of a set of (forged) initials and approvals attributed to being issued by the Ministries of Oil and Trade, and (forged) books attributed to being issued by the Office of the Prime Minister, in addition to seizing (forged) seals attributed to the Ministry of Commerce, pointing out that the network has By deluding one of the owners of the companies to obtain approvals for five plots of land belonging to the Ministry of Commerce for more than (3) million US dollars, which were delivered to the head of the network according to delivery receipts seized with the priorities.
    And she noted the "organization of fundamental records, and their presentation, accompanied by the defendants and the seized criminal exhibits, to the Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Investigation Court, which decided to arrest the accused in accordance with the provisions of the amended Resolution (160 of 1983), noting that" investigations are continuing to reach the rest of the network members and execute arrest warrants. and searches issued against the other accused.
