    [rtl]Baghdad - Iraq today:[/rtl]
[rtl]The Federal Court of Cassation in Iraq ruled that the Governor of Nineveh, Najm al-Jubouri, is included in the Accountability and Justice Law and that he or his representatives are not permitted to run in the provincial council elections.  [/rtl]
[rtl] The court said in the ruling decision that it: “It rejected Al-Jubouri’s objection to its inclusion in the Accountability and Justice Law, which was previously confirmed by the Accountability and Justice Commission when it was addressed by the Independent High Electoral Commission.”[/rtl]
[rtl]   The Court of Cassation indicated that “Al-Jubouri, according to his discriminatory list, in which he stated that he worked in the dissolved military intelligence and had the rank of a division member in the dissolved Baath Party.” Accordingly, the court decided to “ratify” the decision of the Supreme National Authority for Accountability and Justice and reject the objection of the objector.[/rtl]
