Today, Friday (November 24, 2023), the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad, Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq, commented on the American bombing of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq.
The Iranian ambassador said in a tweet on the “X” platform, followed by “Baghdad Today,” that “the public assault and violation of Iraqi national sovereignty and international laws by America through repeated attacks is another sign of its goals and intentions to destabilize security and stability in Iraq and the region.”
He called for "mercy and contentment for the souls of the martyrs of this aggression in Iraq and all the martyrs of the Zionist assault on Gaza and southern Lebanon."
Earlier, American drones bombed the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in the Jurf al-Sakhar area in Babil Governorate, causing six casualties and wounding two others, after a similar operation targeted a Popular Mobilization vehicle in the Abu Ghraib area, west of Baghdad.
