Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani discussed, Friday, with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan bilateral relations on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.[/size]
[size=45]A statement by the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region stated: The two sides discussed issues of strengthening Turkey's relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and exchanged views on the latest developments in the region in general.[/size]
[size=45]The two sides stressed the importance of maintaining security and stability and Turkey's cooperation with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region to combat threats to the security and stability of the two countries. They also discussed efforts and steps to re-export Kurdistan Region oil.[/size]
[size=45]The meeting also discussed the fight against terrorism and the joint work of countries in the region to maintain peace and stability and other issues of common concern.[/size]
