    Information/Baghdad..
A member of the State of Law coalition, Saad Al-Muttalabi, confirmed on Tuesday that the continuation of the current election law depends on the stability of political science in Iraq.

Al-Muttalabi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “Iraq as a country has not yet found its electoral identity due to the continuous changes in its electoral law and for each electoral cycle,” pointing out that “the stability of the federal election law depends on the stability of the political situation and vice versa because both are linked to the other.”
He added, "One of the main reasons behind the citizen's reluctance to go to the ballot boxes is the ongoing changes in the federal election law because he is convinced that the amendments that occur in every election cycle are for partisan, factional, and political interests."
He pointed out, "Iraq currently does not have its electoral identity due to the continued changes and amendments to the electoral law."
It is noteworthy that the political process in Iraq held 5 parliamentary elections, with the exception of the transitional parliamentary elections in January 2005, and the method of distributing seats changed repeatedly during the past two decades. End / 25 AD
